We just returned from Italy/Switzerland and had the BEST time, thanks to Pepe Strub. He did everything, from train tickets to hotels to providing a wonderful itinerary with things to do, places to eat, sights to see, and all we had to do was show up. There were a couple episodes of confusion with our hotels, and we would text Pepe at an ungodly hour and it would be taken care of almost immediately. Not having to stress about planning or coordinating was invaluable. I would highly recommend Magic Switzerland/Absolute Travel, and I will 100% use their services again. After researching Swiss travel agencies, we selected Magic Switzerland/ Absolute Travel Services for our trip to Switzerland based on excellent recommendations and reviews. Glad we did! The trip was smooth, finely tuned and as accurate as a fine Swiss timepiece. Our trip was perfect from travel to accommodations with Pepe Strub as our travel agent.  He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of our travel plans including booking our plane reservations, hotel accommodations as well as train reservations. I typically like planning and booking on my own. But from reviews, i decided to look into Absolute Travel for our Panama vacation. I emailed them and was surprised at an immediate response from Ana. She was very responsive and precise and knew exactly what to include for our trip. For the next two weeks, we exchanged emails to nail down the details. Ana is very detail oriented which is so necessary when traveling abroad. We are back from our Panama trip. Everything worked out as planned. The Panamanian local agency, Receptour, was excellent Ana Quintero and Antonio were outstanding and helped with all our needs. The only issue I encountered was that the Panama Canal had no ships (missed the boat on this one) when we visited. That was initially disappointing, but Receptour made up for it by taking me back when they found out that there would be a bunch of ships crossing the next morning! 2021 October: Once again Pepe worked with me to arrange a cycling tour of Switzerland. The bicycle and the luggage transfers were well done and prompt with no surprises. I was able to have 3 Alpine passes and several miles of scenic bike paths along the Reuss, Landquart and Rhine rivers. Traveling during COVID was a little different however the adventure was still great. As you can see from the 2019 trip review posted below, I was satisfied to repeat the efforts and engage Pepe at absolute travel once again. Great job on the logistics and hotel choices. 2019 trip to Switzerland: Pepe helped create a customized road cycling and hiking vacation in the Swiss Alps. It was a challenge that proved to be a very successful trip. It involved rental of a premium racing bicycle, arranging good hotels along the way to accommodate a cyclist, and transport of luggage from one alpine village to another. It was a wonderful trip with the classic road bicycle routes with climbs to scenic passes in the alps. (most notably the Old Tremola road to Gotthard Pass). On alternate days enjoying the scenic hikes around the different ski villages that I stayed at. It was an outdoor enthusiast's holiday.
